No, registration packages allow entry to all sessions and exhibits. The Online Program Planner, available in March, will allow you to identify sessions that you are interested in attending, plus add personal scheduled items—but this is not required.
An exception is the pre-conference continuing education (CE) courses on May 3 and 4, which must be purchased separately. When you register, you will see CE course options with times and prices. You may add course(s) when you register or add them later to your registration in the registration upgrade center (see your registration confirmation email).
CE courses and a symposium will be held Friday, May 3, and Saturday, May 4. Please see the continuing education section for details.
To upgrade your registration, such such as adding tickets or CE courses, refer to your confirmation email for the registration update link.
If you registered for a package or ticket unintentionally, please contact MedicalLibrary@xpressreg.net immediately for adjustments to your record. For other information, see the Cancellations and Refunds section below.
An exhibits-only pass is only for spouses, significant others, and persons working outside the profession and allows entry only to the Hall of Exhibits on Sunday and Monday. It does not provide admission to the Saturday Welcome Reception, admission to plenary sessions or meeting programming, or access to online meeting content. Exhibit-only passes are sold onsite at the MLA Registration Center.
e-Conference registration provides unlimited access to all the online meeting content through May 2020. You can view video recordings of all the plenary sessions and synchronized slides with audio for all available member-contributed content sessions. In addition, you have access to over 200 posters in the Online Poster Gallery.
Individuals should register for the e-Conference through the online registration system. Institutions can purchase an e-Conference site license for their organization’s staff (available soon). An e-Conference site license provides unlimited access to MLA ’19 recorded meeting content for up to 25 people through May 2020.
Although recordings are not live, you can see the plenary and breakout presentations while they are still fresh. Video recordings of the plenary sessions are usually available 24 hours after the end of the session; synchronized slide and audio views for paper and immersion sessions are generally available 48 hours after the session.
