MLA 125: Building a Better Future
MLA turned 125 on May 2, 2023. That means it’s time to celebrate a century-and-a-quarter of incredible traditions, people, connections and more.
This website highlights MLA programs, initiatives, and resources that will help us understand MLA’s 125-year-past to build a better future inclusive of all communities and will further our knowledge and appreciation of MLA’s achievements and contributions. We'd also like to acknowledge MLA members and volunteers on MLA's Building a Better Future Strategic Goal Task Forces:
- 125-Year Retrospective Task Force
- Most Notable Workgroup
- Vision 2048 Task Force
- MLA Archives Task Force
- History Committee
Throughout our anniversary year (May 2023 – May 2024) celebrate with us as MLA builds upon and delivers its commitment to support a diverse, equitable, and inclusive community of professional practice and leadership of health sciences information professionals—now and in the future.
Check in often for information and updates about how we are transforming our environment into a community that embraces, celebrates, and practices diversity, equity, and inclusion.
