Build your professional network. Sign up for MLA’s Virtual Colleague Connection!

Organized by MLA’s Membership Committee, Colleague Connection is a mentoring program pairing new members with experienced members or fellow new colleagues.

If you are a new member, connect with an experienced colleague or a fellow newbie. If you are an experienced member, with decades of experience or just a few years, you also benefit by helping a new colleague navigate a new organization and profession while expanding your professional network.

The virtual program runs from October to January. Pairs are encouraged to meet at their convenience at least once a month.

Key dates:

    • To ensure a connection, please sign up by Friday, September 30
    • Participants will learn of their pairing by October 14
    • An introductory gathering will be held Tuesday, October 18 at 1pm central
    • Wrap-up event scheduled for Wednesday, Jan 25 at 1pm central

If you have any questions regarding Colleague Connection, please contact MLA Membership Committee Chair Tim Kenny or Chair-Designate Jana Liebermann.
