MRSQ is Seeking a New Editor-in-Chief

Medical Reference Services Quarterly is looking for an Editor-in-Chief for this journal on the practice of medical librarianship that publishes 4 issues a year. I have served in this role for almost 5 years, and it has been infinitely rewarding to watch the profession evolve in the midst of unexpected events that helped shape how information services have changed, especially in the past 2.5 years. The Editorial Board is made up of leaders in the profession, working together to publish peer-reviewed articles and subject-specific columns that inform and inspire librarians working in health sciences and hospital libraries. Through timely and relevant themes, we have reacted to, and perhaps influenced, some major accomplishments of our fellow medical librarians. A special issue on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Access is in the plan for issue 1 of 2023.

This is a leadership opportunity that will earn AHIP points and expand your network of colleagues, and it is doable while holding down a day job. I am available to answer questions. More information about this role, and how to apply, can be found here.
