Looking for a way to fund your MLA travel? MLA offers 10 Annual Meeting Travel Grants of up to $1,000 each for travel and meeting-related expenses. Applicants must be members of MLA, be employed as a health information professional with 2–5 years of experience at the time of the meeting, and complete an online form with a 200-word statement of intention.
Priority will be given to members:
- who have never attended MLA before
- who are presenting (or have a submission to present)
- who have official service assignments—either on an MLA committee or jury, or from a section or a special interest group (SIG)
So if you have never received the grant before and need extra funding to attend, apply; it does not even require the cost of a stamp.
The deadline for application is February 25, 2019. Get it in before midnight, central time!
