MLA ’19 Registration Is Now Open!

mla19logo.jpgMLA is delighted to announce that registration for MLA ’19 is now open! Join us for three-and-a-half days of dynamic programming at the Hyatt Regency Chicago, May 3–8, with a new alignment of programs, special keynote speakers, and an evening networking event that showcases and connects people from all backgrounds with others who have shared interests. Early bird registration is available through Wednesday, April 3, 2019.

Whether you are new to the community or a longtime contributor, MLA ’19 is a can’t-miss event for anyone interested in the health information profession. The theme of the meeting, ELEVATE, is derived from Chicago’s iconic elevated transit system (the “L” or “El”). The “L” is one of the oldest, most extensive rapid transit systems in the country and was voted one of the seven wonders of Chicago. We hope that, like the “L,” MLA ’19 will elevate the profession and deliver you to the destination you seek, be it learning, service, partnership, fun, or friendship.

The printed Preliminary Program was sent to you last week. If you have not received it yet, be on the lookout for it to arrive soon. This year’s meeting website is much more extensive than in prior years, so please delve into the details of the MLA ’19 General Information and MLA ’19 Session Overview by Topic sections.

To make it easy to identify learning opportunities that serve your professional development goals, MLA ’19 activities are organized into seven areas of health information professional practice:

  • Information Services
  • Information Management
  • Education
  • Professionalism & Leadership
  • Innovation & Research Practice
  • Clinical Support
  • Global Health & Health Equity

In addition, here are a few new pages to note:

More information about registration and links to the registration form are available on the registration page. Don’t miss out, register today!

We look forward to welcoming you to MLA ’19 in Chicago.
