The 55th annual meeting of the PNC of MLA was held in Spokane, WA, this past fall, with the theme “Translate, Transform, Transcend.” It was the first time this meeting had been held in Spokane since 1987, and planning committee members were excited to share the city with with PNC members.

Exercise medicine has become a popular and effective treatment for non-communicable diseases (NCDs) in Malaysia. Early intervention with exercise for sufferers in the beginning stages of disease can prevent development of the main NCDs, including hypertension, diabetes, obesity, or dyslipidemia.
