If you are heading to the Detroit conference next month, consider signing up as either a mentor or mentee for this year’s Colleague Connection. As mentors, whether you have decades of experience or only a few years, mentoring a colleague during the conference expands your professional network, exposes you to new perspectives, and helps someone navigate a new organization and profession. If you are a new MLA member or if MLA | SLA '23 will be your first in-person MLA meeting, sign up to learn how to get the most out of the annual conference, meet new colleagues, and build professional networks. Mentor/mentee pairs will receive an invitation to attend the New Members/First-Time Attendees breakfast on May 17, 2023, at the Huntington Place Convention Center.
