Save the Date! Making Sense of Basic Science: A Reflection on Lab Culture

The Basic Science Caucus will host a webinar, “Making Sense of Basic Science: A Reflection on Lab Culture,” on Thursday November 4 at 12:00 p.m., eastern time, with a one-hour panel discussion featuring three scientists-turned-librarians (Jeremy Kupsco, Carrie Iwema, and Shannon Compton), moderated by Stacey Wahl, Basic Science Caucus chair (and fellow scientist).

This panel discussion will feature an interactive audience discussion of the perceptions of basic science culture, along with reflections from our panelists about how they used the library in graduate school/postdoctoral training, what they wish they knew then, and how their knowledge of basic science culture informs their practice as librarians.

Register here to attend. All MLA members are welcome to attend. We are looking forward to talking about all things science with you!
