Art Institute Chicago is a classic art museum just a 10-minute walk from MLA ’19. The museum is open daily from 10:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m, and until 8:00 p.m. on Thursdays. Tickets begin at $25.00 for general admission to the museum’s galleries and non-ticketed exhibitions. Ticketed exhibitions are an extra fee, and audio guides are available for $7.
The Chicago Architecture Center is just steps from MLA ’19 and offers Must-See Chicago, a 1.5-hour introductory walking tour to Chicago.
