Business Meeting and President's speech

MLA members have seen many changes this past year.  From the movement of publications from a primarily print to a digital format to the creation of a education platform called Medlib-ed.  The many changes, strategic goals and successes and the meeting statstics we're shared at this mornings business meeting and presentations.  A few meeting highlights:. 38%of members are attending the meeting with 1031 paid attendees.  The content is impressive as well and he quality high as there were 493 submissions and 359 of these were accepted, giving us  a 73% rate.

 Incoming President, Barbara Epstein gave us an idea of what to look for in the future, not only is there a strategic goals for diversity and inclusion, there are new webpages soon to be released one highlight being a librarian research guide.

We have been officially invited to Atlanta formally and by the Late Night Librarians. Boy I hope there is a video that we can share later.
