Begin your Academy affiliation and plan your professional growth and development in an ever-changing profession with Provisional Membership!
Provisional membership is the entry-level AHIP membership, for those who are currently employed or seeking employment in the health information field and have less than five years experience in the field.
Provisional Members are assigned a mentor and are required to document at least 8 points of continuing education each year following the first year of AHIP membership. Visit the Academy website for further information, instructions, necessary forms, and documentation requirements.
