The African American Medical Librarians Alliance (AAMLA) invites you to join us for an awesome Webinar presentation on Finding Our Bearings: Navigating Transformational Change in Uncertain Times by Leona Hess, PhD, MSW, Director of Professional Learning in Medical Education and Associate Professor, Leni and Peter May Department of Medical Education, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, NY.
In times of rapid and often disorienting change, it can be difficult to know what to hold onto, what to let go of, and how to move forward when the destination is unclear. Through personal storytelling and a practical framework for understanding transformational change, this session explores what happens when familiar ways of working and making sense of the world no longer serve us. Together, we will consider how to recognize where we are in the change process, work with uncertainty rather than against it, and find sources of orientation, agency, and connection as individuals and as communities.
