Surviving Burnout: Strategies for Supporting Well-being in High-Stress Work Environments

Health sciences librarians face chronic stress, high workloads, and emotional labor, often without effective recovery strategies. This webinar addresses unmanageable workloads, blurred work-life boundaries, and the guilt-driven pressure to over commit. It also provides concrete recovery strategies for those already experiencing burnout.

Attendees will recognize early signs of burnout, analyze workplace stressors, and create a personalized prevention plan. They will learn practical boundary-setting techniques and explore strategies to foster a healthier workplace culture. Inclusive strategies ensure that all participants can apply the content to their unique challenges.

Through interactive activities, case study discussions, and a guided workbook, participants will develop actionable burnout prevention strategies. Participants will receive a burnout self-assessment, an interactive worksheet, and real-world case studies to apply their learning.

She is passionate about fostering environments where individuals and teams not only work but thrive.
