Are you new to PubMed? Maybe you’d like a refresher. PubMed comprises more than 40 million citations for biomedical literature from MEDLINE, life science journals, and online books.
The recording is designed to take approximately 90 minutes to complete and is worth 1.5 MLA CE credits. The recording will define MeSH and discuss why we use it, plus we will look at entry terms. We will look at the hierarchical structure of MeSH and talk about automatic explosion. We will talk about the four types of MeSH terms and look at examples of each. And then we will dissect a MeSH record to help you better understand all the components that are included. You can start and stop at your convenience. The recording is made up of a pre and post-test, a recording and a multiple-choice assignment that follows along with the recording.
