AAHSL Connects – 2026

On behalf of the AAHSL Belonging and Community Engagement Committee, we are making a change from AAHSL Reads to AAHSL Connects. We aim to hold a session each quarter focusing on media that is relevant to our community.

Please join us on Friday, April 10, 12:00 – 1:30 PM PST / 3:00 – 4:30 PM EST. We will be discussing articles/podcasts/videos related to belonging and community engagement.

We hope to have a diverse group of health information professionals moderate these engaging sessions and MLA CE credit will be provided for interested participants.

Learning Objectives

• Create a safe learning environment where information professionals can discuss difficult topics related to belonging and community.
• Engage information professionals in conversations related to belonging and community.
• Provide a method for information professionals to participate no matter what type of library they work in or where they are physically located.
• Connect librarians with similar interests to assist with networking.
