Caucus Merger Caucus Merger Request Form Caucus leaders: if your caucus groups are interested in merging, please complete this form. Leaders for each caucus wishing to merge, must poll members of their caucuses and receive majority approval, of those voting–not of the full caucus membership, before this request can be considered. The Caucus Governance Committee of the Community Council will evaluate requests based on the following: The merged caucus will meet minimum caucus requirements as outlined in MLA Board Policies Governing Caucuses and Community Council (Section 5.3) The member needs and interests of the merging caucus are aligned. The Caucus Governance Committee of the Community Council shall not unreasonably withhold approval of a petition. It may recommend changes to the petition prior to approval to ensure overall cohesiveness and alignment of all caucuses.
