Welcoming Nicki Mehall: MLA’s Education Manager

Please join us in officially welcoming Nicki Mehall to the Medical Library Association (MLA) team! She came on board in December 2024 as our new Education Manager, bringing a wealth of nonprofit experience. Nicki attended her first MLA annual conference in May 2025, where she connected with members, supported key educational sessions, and began immersing herself in the MLA community.

Nicki brings over 25 years of nonprofit experience, having previously served as Director of Communications. For the past 13 years, she has been a valued member of MCI USA, where she continues to contribute her expertise. In her role as Education Manager for MLA, Nicki supports the planning and execution of webinars and online courses, oversees symposia and continuing education (CE) sessions at the annual conference, and serves as a liaison to several key initiatives, including the Rising Stars program, the Education Curriculum Committee, and the AI Imperative Task Force. She is also actively supporting the Research Training Institute (RTI) program.
