If you’re heading to MLA ’26 in Milwaukee in May, consider signing up as a mentor or mentee for this year’s Colleague Connection, presented by the MLA Membership Committee.

Serving as a mentor—whether you bring decades of experience or just a few years—offers a meaningful opportunity to expand your professional network, gain fresh perspectives, and support a colleague as they navigate the profession and the MLA community. New MLA members and first-time in-person conference attendees are encouraged to participate as mentees to learn how to make the most of the annual meeting, connect with colleagues, and begin building lasting professional relationships.
