Obituary: Carolann Lee Curry

With sorrow, we report that Carolann Lee Curry, 42, of Macon, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2026

A dedicated health sciences librarian, Carolann built her career around supporting medical research and advancing access to evidence-based information. She earned degrees from Flagler College and Valdosta State University before serving as a medical librarian at the University of Washington, where her work contributed to medical literature research, evidence-based medicine, and biomedical scholarly communication. She was also remembered by colleagues as a longtime and active member of the Georgia Health Sciences Library Association (GHSLA).
