MCMLA 2026 Chapter Meeting Call for Proposals
Submitted by: Peter Johnson

The Midcontinental Chapter of the Medical Library Association (MCMLA) is now accepting proposals for its 2026 one-day remote Annual Meeting on October 1, 2026.
This year’s theme is Spaces, Places, and People in Health Sciences Libraries, centered on how health sciences libraries are evolving and functioning—physically, digitally, and socially. From the spaces we work in, to the places we serve, to the people who power them.
We invite all those working or supporting health science libraries, including those in part-time roles, to submit a presentation, lightning round, poster proposal, or panel discussion topic by Friday, August 7. To learn more about the theme and proposal requirements, visit the Annual Meeting’s website.
Annual Meeting registration will be free for those with accepted proposals, as well as active MCMLA members ($30 annually). Annual Meeting registration for non-members will be $30.
