Description
Join us for our upcoming HLC Open Meeting, which will focus on our diverse Communities of Practice (CoP). During this session, we will split into breakout rooms to discuss how MLA’s strategic priorities can best address the specific needs, training requirements, and opportunities of each community within our caucus.
Breakout Sessions
Participants will have the opportunity to join one of four breakout rooms focused on the top identified communities of practice:
Librarians working with GME departments, residents, and fellows.
Librarians supporting clinical nurses in hospital settings.
Librarians operating as part of a larger healthcare system team.
Children’s Hospital Librarians
These are MLA’s strategic priorities Vision, Values, Mission, and Planning – MLA
Self advocacy for health information professionals within healthcare
Foster multidisciplinary partnerships and collaborations
Address the impact of AI in the Health Sciences Librarian Workforce
Improve Member Engagement and Value Proposition
