Don’t Miss MLA ’26 Travel Grant Funding

Applications for the 2026 MLA Annual Conference Travel Grants are now open—but the deadline is fast approaching. All applications must be submitted by February 4, 2026.

For 2026, MLA is excited to offer expanded financial support for members, increasing the number of available travel grants from 5 to 13. This expansion means more members than ever can receive support to attend the in-person annual conference in Milwaukee.

We are grateful to McGraw Hill for once again sponsoring these travel grants and helping make conference participation more accessible for MLA members.

Two grant opportunities will be available again this year, each with a focused audience:

• The Ysabel Bertolucci MLA Annual Meeting Grant continues its emphasis on supporting newer members.
• The MLA Annual Meeting Travel Grant now includes a renewed focus on members with six or more years of professional experience.

With a limited number of grants available and a February 4 deadline, interested members are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
