Are you ready to take the next step in your leadership journey?
The Medical Library Association (MLA) is now accepting applications for the 2027 – 2028 Rising Stars Program, a prestigious, year-long leadership development experience designed to cultivate the next generation of leaders in health sciences librarianship.
As an MLA Rising Star, you will:
- Participate in monthly leadership sessions with MLA leaders
- Collaborate with a cohort of peers on a high-impact MLA project
- Receive one-on-one mentorship from experienced professionals
- Gain visibility and recognition within the MLA community
Application Requirements
All criteria and program requirements are on MLANET. To submit your application, you will need to prepare:
- A current CV or résumé
- A letter of support from your library director, including confirmation of time and (optional) financial support to attend the MLA Annual Meeting
