A New Year for MLA Starts Here: Join the 2026/27 Presidential Inaugural Address

A new chapter for the Medical Library Association begins on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, and you are invited to be part of it!
MLA President Tara Douglas-Williams, AHIP, will deliver the 2026/27 Presidential Inaugural Address, sharing her vision for the year ahead and outlining priorities that will guide the association’s work. This annual address is a key moment for the MLA community to come together, reflect on our shared achievements, and look toward the future of health sciences librarianship.
During the address, attendees will:
- Hear the president’s vision and strategic direction for the coming year
- Celebrate the induction of new MLA Fellows
- Recognize awards recipients
- Learn more about upcoming initiatives and organizational goals
