Be Well MLA: The Pets of MLA

The Be Well MLA initiative promotes wellness and well-being among Medical Library Association members. MLA members are invited to participate in the monthly Be Well Wednesday series. In these sessions, MLA members and guests will share lessons learned, strategies, and tips about various wellness topics. Series events will run from September 2023 to April 2024, culminating at MLA ’24.

Join us for the upcoming Be Well Wednesday, March 20th, 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., central time. titled "The Pets of MLA." This special event will delve into the heartwarming connection between pets and wellness, exploring our furry (and feathered!) friends' profound impact on our mental and physical health.

In this session, we'll delve into various aspects of pet ownership, including the therapeutic benefits of pet companionship, responsible pet care practices, and the joys of birdwatching. Whether you're a seasoned pet owner or simply curious about the positive influence of animals on well-being, this session promises to be both informative and uplifting.
