Tourist attractions within walking distance of the Hyatt Regency Atlanta

Take advantage of these on-foot adventures when you join us in May:

  • Center for Human and Civil Rights is 0.5 miles away (11 minutes walking or 5 minutes by car). This world class cultural attraction tells the story of the American Civil Rights Movement and connects it to the contemporary Global Human Rights Movement. Ticket price is $21.77 or CityPASS. Recommended time: 2 hours.
  • World of Coca-Cola at 121 Baker St, 30313, is 0.3 miles away (6 minutes walking or 5 minutes by car). This will afford you the opportunity to sample over 100 coke flavors from around the world. Ticket price is $17 or CityPASS.
  • Georgia Aquarium is 0.5 miles from the hotel (9 minutes walking or 5 minutes by car). This is the second largest aquarium in the world, it houses more than one hundred thousand aquatic animals. It shares a campus with both the World of Coke and the Center for Human and Civil Rights. Plan to spend at least half a day exploring the aquarium’s vast exhibits and famous dolphin show. It is helpful to purchase timed entrance tickets in advance. The ticket price is $35.95 or CityPASS.
  • Finally, the Centennial Olympic Park is a 21-acre park within 0.6 miles of the host hotel (9 minutes walking or 5 minutes by car). The park hosted events at the 1996 Summer Olympic games and includes an interactive Fountain of Rings as well as other Olympic sights and plenty of green space for a walk or run. (free admission) For $13.89, visitors can take a trip on Atlanta’s 20 foot gondola ferris wheel SkyView.
