MLA and AAHSL have joined over 300 organizations and institutions in sending a thank you letter to the leadership of the House and Senate Appropriations Committees, and every member of Congress who voted in support of the FY 2016 Consolidated Appropriations Act.
The Appropriations Act, signed into law as Public Law: 114-113, gave the National Institutes of Health (NIH) a much needed funding increase of $2 billion that will strengthen our nation's biomedical research enterprise by fueling the discovery of new treatments and cures, and furthering the quality of life and saving lives.
