Health Humanities Caucus

Members: 230     Discussions: 589     Files: 2

The purpose of this Health Humanities Caucus is to build a community of library practitioners with interest or professional involvement in the medical humanities.

Health humanities is an interdisciplinary field that includes, but is not limited to, narrative medicine, history of medicine, culture studies, ethics, graphic medicine, the arts, and social science.

This group gives members a chance to connect and collaborate with like-minded librarians digitally throughout the year and formally at MLA. As recognition of the value of medical humanities grows within medical education and practice, the roles for librarians are expected to grow, and so shall membership for this group.
