Make a Colleague Connection at MLA ’26- Sign Up for a Mentor or Mentee Today!

Submitted by: Adela Justice

If you’re heading to MLA ’26 in Milwaukee, which will be here before you know it, consider signing up as a conference mentor or mentee for this year’s Colleague Connection. Presented by the MLA Membership Committee, it’s a grate way to make a gouda connection with someone new.

New MLA members and first-time in‑person conference attendees are encouraged to participate. Experienced members are waiting to help you make the most of the annual conference, connect with more colleagues, and begin building professional relationships.

Serving as a mentor—whether you have decades of experience or just a few years to share—offers a meaningful opportunity to expand your professional network, gain fresh perspectives, and support a colleague as they find their whey around the conference, in the profession and the MLA community.

Sign up by Thursday, April 30, 2026.

Please note that this in‑person program is separate from the Virtual Colleague Connection.
