Statement of Purpose

The purpose of the Data Caucus is to build a community of medical librarians and library staff that provide data services.

Examples of data services include: support for data management, data visualization, programming in R/Python, data analysis, data cleaning, data discovery, and data sharing.

This group will give members a chance to connect, collaborate, and share ideas with fellow data librarians at MLA and throughout the year. As this is a fast-growing area of librarianship we anticipate a healthy membership.
