The Leadership and Management Caucus was established in 1948 as Medical School Libraries Section. The name was changed in 2000 to Leadership and Management Section.
This caucus's purpose is to focus on the art and the science of leadership and management, promoting research and advancing professional development in these areas. The intent is to be very inclusive. Librarians at all levels and in all types of libraries are called upon to exercise leadership skills and to deal with management issues.
