MLA Interprofessional Education and Practice (IPEP) Caucus Statement

The Interprofessional Education and Practice (IPEP) Caucus has at its core the belief that, together, we are better. We stand in solidarity with our fellow MLA members and caucuses and with our communities in speaking out and standing against racism and discrimination of any kind. As members of the IPEP Caucus, as information professionals, and as educators, we must work collaboratively to create much needed system-level changes to dismantle institutionalized racism and to empower our students to do this important work. To that end, we are committed to joining MLA’s efforts and the efforts of our individual workplaces to reject racism in all forms, to build community, and to foster learning with, from, and about each other.
