David Nolfi, Gumberg Library, Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, PA, my co-instructor, and I have been working as liaison librarians at our different institutions over the last several years. We will help you get a solid background in the history and evolution of health professions; learn about outreach, instruction, and collections activities you can adopt; and give you an opportunity to develop a plan for applying your learning to your institution. You will leave with clear next steps and goals on how to liaise effectively with the types of professionals you encounter at your workplace.
