Join the First Be Well MLA Wednesday: Pens, Planners, and Productivity: Organizing Your Thoughts for Back to Work & School

The Be Well MLA initiative promotes wellness and well-being among members of the Medical Library Association. MLA members are invited to participate in the Be Well Wednesday series every month. In these sessions, MLA members and guests will share lessons learned, strategies, and tips about a variety of wellness topics. Series events will run from September 2023 to April 2024, culminating at MLA '24.

Pens, Planners, and Productivity: Organizing your Thoughts for Back to Work & School

September 13, 2023, 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., central time.

The summer is over, and it's time to get back to the hustle and bustle, which requires efficiency and organization. In this engaging and informative session, panelists will share practical tips, real-life examples, and actionable advice to help you prepare for work and school.

Featured speakers for this session are:

  • Elisa Cortez, Medical Education and Clinical Outreach Librarian, University of California, Riverside
  • Erin Foster, Research Data Management (RDM) Program Service Lead at University of California, Berkeley
  • Jolene Miller, Director of the Mulford Health Science Library and an Associate Professor of Library Administration at the University of Toledo
