New! Leadership and Management Caucus Journal Club

According to the Kaiser Family Foundation, about 4 in 10 adults in the United States, during the COVID-19 pandemic, have reported symptoms of anxiety or depressive disorder. This statistic is up from one in ten adults who reported these symptoms from January to June 2019.

The Leadership and Management Caucus (LMC) invites you to attend their inaugural journal club on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., eastern time. Attendees will discuss the Harvard Business Review article "Leading Through Anxiety."

Join us in this live discussion group as we reflect on our experiences, help others, learn new self-care and stress management techniques, and share ideas.

MLA CE: 1 MLA CE point will be given after completion.

You may register until Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at noon, eastern time, by visiting here.

Discussion Questions

  • How will you/do you practice self-care?
  • What step(s) will you take to manage your anxiety?
  • How will you limit anxiety’s impact on relationship with your colleagues?
  • Which suggestion(s) resonated with you the most?
  • How do you lead others while you too are anxious?

The LMC strives to provide a virtual learning environment where participants feel comfortable to express their unique voices and perspectives. Our intention is to provide a safe, inclusive space for all participants to feel welcome. We ask participants to review and the expectation is they adhere to MLA’s Statement of Appropriate Conduct and GLSEN’s Guidelines for Respectful Discussion.
