Official Meeting Blogger: MLA ’19 Vendor Exhibit Hall

There were over 500 exhibitors at this year’s conference, including a few new ones. As usual, they did not disappoint in bringing energy and fun in the interactions.  Attendees milled about in the lobby waiting for the Hall doors to open.

Our own MLA President Beverly Murphy opened the exhibit hall with a grand ribbon cutting ceremony. She gave a short speech welcoming and thanking the vendors for their support.  Check out Beverly handling those big scissors!

The excitement started at the Wolters Kluwer with a [Fake] Money Grab Booth. Although the lines were quite long at some booths, vendors offered lots of great prizes and it made some exhibit goers pretty happy.

The evening was filled with some cool product demonstrations such as this Anamatoge table. Other vendors had a variety of games, raffles and giveaways for attendees to participate in. As always vendors were cheerful, friendly, and engaging.

Not to forget the enjoyable buffet that included chicken tenders and paired with the always open bar! Thanks NEJM for your continued support!
