MLA ’18’s Talent Show was a great success. So many talented members sang, told stories, read poetry, and more. The house band blew up the stage, and the audience conga-lined the night away. Did you miss it? Well, fear not, because we are going to do it all over again! The call is OPEN for folks to sign up and join in the fun this year. What is your talent? We know you have got it, and we want you to let it shine. Individual members, groups, libraries, chapters, sections, and special interest groups (SIGs) are invited to pull it all together for a five-minute act on stage at the MLA ’19 Tuesday night event.
Contact Sally Gore to volunteer your talent and/or contact Roger Russell Jr, Laupus Library, East Carolina University, Greenville, NC, with any song requests that you have for the house band. Also, do not hesitate to share names of members you can envision on the stage, and we will reach out to them.
GET ON BOARD for the fun in Chicago!
