MLA ’19 ELEVATE continuing education (CE) courses in Chicago, IL will take place on Friday, May 3, and Saturday, May 4, 2019. CE courses support health sciences librarians and other information professionals in adapting to rapidly changing environments
The South Central Chapter of MLA (SCC/MLA) held its 45th annual meeting from October 19–24, 2018. It was fitting that the meeting was held at the Menger Hotel in downtown San Antonio, as it was the site of the inaugural chapter meeting in 1973.
The 55th annual meeting of the PNC of MLA was held in Spokane, WA, this past fall, with the theme “Translate, Transform, Transcend.” It was the first time this meeting had been held in Spokane since 1987, and planning committee members were excited to share the city with with PNC members.
