The Latinx Caucus of MLA unequivocally condemns the actions of George Floyd’s tragic death and killing by the Minneapolis Police Department as well as previous Black and African American victims of police brutality and state-sanctioned violence.
Along with our fellow caucuses in MLA, the MLA LGBTQIA+ Caucus affirms the strength and resilience of our Black members, colleagues, and allies in MLA, the African American Medical Librarians Alliance (AAMLA) Caucus, and the country at large.
The Libraries in Health Sciences Curriculums Caucus (LiHSC) stands in solidarity with the African American Medical Librarians Alliance Caucus and the many MLA members and caucuses who have already put forth statements condemning police brutality.
