The MLA Professional Recruitment and Retention Committee (PRRC) is pleased to again sponsor the MLA Virtual Resume Clinic, held February 20-28, during this year’s Experience MLA. Volunteer to review resumes or sign up to have your resume reviewed.
Reviewees: Sign up today and take advantage of this opportunity to have fresh eyes review your resume and/or cover letter. Mock interviews are also available. If you simply want to discuss the job market and job search process, that’s available too. Each participant will have forty-five minutes with an experienced and skilled librarian reviewer.
Experienced members: if you have experience with the hiring process, sign up to volunteer to help your colleagues by reviewing a resume, conducting a mock interview, or sharing your job search knowledge and experience. Reviewers receive 1 AHIP point for participating.
The sign-up deadline is February 13. Participants will be contacted approximately 1 week prior to the Virtual Clinic week with their scheduled time. Reviewees looking to have their resume, CV, or cover letter reviewed should plan on submitting a copy in advance when signing up.
