The Health Speaker Series with PNC and Region 5 is a collaboration between NNLM Region 5 and Pacific Northwest Chapter/Medical Library Association (PNC-MLA).

This series features expert guest speakers presenting on a variety of health-related topics important to our attendees.

The Health Speaker Series with PNC and Region 5 will be scheduled intermittently; please check the NNLM Regional Classes training schedule for upcoming webinar sessions.

The Health Speaker Series focuses on supporting all NNLM users and members to increase information access and data through collaboration with libraries and other members.

Learning Objectives:

  • Recognize health-related topics important to librarians, health professionals, public health workers, and others to help inform their work.
  • Apply presented information and resources to continue educating yourself, your peers, and the healthcare community on a variety of health-related topics.
  • Identify NLM and MLA resources to use to find additional information on relevant topics.

Agenda:

  • Each session will begin with a 7 minute presentation about the NNLM.
  • The remaining time will be devoted to the guest speaker and Q&A.
  • An evaluation link will be provided to all participants at the end of the session.
