This 90-minute webinar explores the use of MeSH in the cataloging environment. By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:
- Describe the overall process of cataloging using MeSH
- Explain the principles of subject analysis
- Find information about specific terms and the MeSH hierarchy using the MeSH Browser
- Properly structure MeSH in a bibliographic record
- Explore topics that require special consideration or exceptions for catalogers when using MeSH
- Request changes to the MeSH vocabulary
