Wanted: Adventure Librarian

Can you imagine what the job description looks like for an adventure librarian?  What are the requirements?  Education or experience? I suspect that the line of applicants would be the same length as Julie Angus' first adventure.

Julie is an inspiring, amazing speaker who captivated the audience with her tales, pictures and videos of bicycling and rowing across Europe, the Atlantic Ocean and North America in addition to other adventures.  Rowing across the Atlantic takes a lot of preparation, including ordering your second hand boat online and having it shipped to Portugal where you have to ensure that it is sea-worthy - in less than two weeks - so you miss the hurricane season or DO you?  Other preparations include packing dried food purchased locally because your supplies couldn't reach you.  Once you are out to sea and your GPS as well as the desalinator both break, which do you fix first?  Is there something bigger you should keep your eye out for?  If you missed Julie's McGovern Award lecture you really missed out on some great lessons, pictures and inspiration!  Thanks everyone for the great engagement and questions!
