Stuffing Conference Bags
Help stuff the conference bags with all sorts of goodies while catching up with your colleagues! Snacks will be provided!
Thursday, May 14 from 1-5 p.m. at a location to be determined (TBD).
Staffing the Hospitality Booth
Help provide directions and other information about Portland to conference-goers. You do NOT have to be a resident of Portland to sign up for this if you feel familiar enough with the city to field questions about it.
The Hospitality Booth will need 2 volunteers per shift (each shift is 2 hours long) during the hours that the MLA registration desk is open. At present, the registration hours are as follows:
Friday, May 15 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.
Saturday, May 16 7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.
Sunday, May 17 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Monday, May 18 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Tuesday, May 19 7:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
Staffing the Placement Center/Member Resource Room
The Placement Center/Member Resource Room serves as the home base for attendees looking for their next positions and employers seeking new hires. Career consultants provide career-focused advice and one-on-one resume counseling.
The Placement Center/Member Resource Room will need 1-2 volunteers per shift (each shift is 2 hours long) during the hours that the MLA registration desk is open. At present the registration hours are as follows:
