Vendor spotlight: Sanford Guide

Greetings medical librarians! As your blog correspondent covering the exhibit hall, this post will feature one of the smaller exhibitors in the massive hall. It can be intimidating to peruse the exhibit hall and speak with dozens of vendors in one sitting. Information overload, we all know what that is like! Over the next few posts I'll feature a few exhibitor booths starting with Sanford Guide to help fill in the gaps in case you can't visit every booth or are following the conference remotely.

Are many of you familiar with this product? According to many internal medicine and infectious disease physicians I work with, Sanford is an essential resource for therapy information for infectious diseases. Would you believe me if I told you it's a family-run business and an 8-person company? There are several consulting physicians, but the company itself consists of only 8 or so employees. I spoke with Scott D. Kelley, Director of Sales and Product Development, and grandson of the esteemed physician founder, Dr. Jay P. Sanford.

If you have time before the exhibit hall closes tomorrow, stop by and say hello. They're a friendly team and the product is highly reputable among physicians. Also, there is some fun trivia to learn about their company logo.
