Travel to Seattle

Flying

Getting here really is half the fun and takes half a day! MLA '17 attendees who plan on flying to SEA-TAC International Airport (SEA) should check Delta and Alaska Airlines. Both consider Seattle a hub city.

Public transit

The Link Light Rail SeaTac / Airport Station is connected to the fourth floor of the airport parking garage. Trains arrive and depart on the platform level of the station. The Link Light Rail service runs from 5 a.m. to 1 a.m. Monday through Saturday and 6 a.m. to midnight on Sundays. Trains arrive and depart every 7.5 to 15 minutes, depending on the time of day. One-way fare for adults ranges from $2.25 to $3.

The King County Metro bus stops that serve Sea-Tac Airport are located on International Boulevard and South 176th Street by the Link Light Rail Station. The most convenient route to the stops is to take the walkway through the north end of the fourth floor of the Airport Parking Garage to the Sound Transit Link Light Rail Station and exit to International Boulevard.

Taxis & TNCs

Taxi stands are available on the 3rd floor of the parking garage. Lyft, Uber and Wingz are now providing services at SEA-TAC International Airport for a one year pilot. For information regarding the TNCs, contact the Sea-Tac Airport Ground Transit Booth at 206.787.5904.
