Colleague Connection is MLA’s mentoring program pairing new members with experienced members. New members will also have the option to be paired with a fellow new member in this fully virtual program.
If you are a new member, pair up with an experienced colleague or a fellow newbie and build up your professional network. If you are an experienced member, as a mentor, you also benefit from Colleague Connection, whether you have decades of experience or only a few years. Mentoring a colleague will expand your professional network and help someone navigate a new organization and profession. Participants will learn of their pairing by October 1. There will be an introductory meeting in October and the program will run from October to January. Participants are encouraged to meet at their convenience at least once a month.
