MLAConnect is seeking two coeditors to cover the Information Services Hub. We are seeking dynamic members who like to keep current with the profession and spread the word about research, special projects, resources, and more.
Hub editors are responsible for gathering and creating content from the caucuses that are of interest to the hub and larger MLA community. The weekly time commitment averages an hour a week. Articles are due from each editor about every eight weeks on a staggered four-week rotation. This three-year commitment allows the person to earn points toward membership in the Academy of Health Information Professionals upon successful completion of service.
I want to take a moment to acknowledge Shannon Compton, PhD, MLIS, AHIP, and her service to MLAConnect over the years. Shannon has been a wonderful part of our editorial board with thoughtful contributions and committed to reaching out to the caucuses that are part of the Information Services Hub.
