Searching for an Effective and Efficient Expert Method for Conducting Exhaustive Searches?

Wichor Bramer and Melissa Rethlefsen are offering their classic MLA searching course, Effectiveness and Efficiency in Exhaustive Searches early next month on November 1 and November 15, 2022, 10:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m., central time. Their course has sold-out the last two times we have offered it.

You’ll learn a unique, efficient, and effective method for conducting exhaustive searches. Demonstrations and hands-on exercises will introduce you to the method. Practice in Ovid Medline, Embase.com, or PubMed under the guidance of experienced information specialists will hone your skills. You’ll leave the course able to create complex searches checked for completeness and translated between databases and interfaces much faster than with traditional methods. If you are pursuing your Level I Systematic Review Searching Specialization, the course will count as an approved elective.
